Domestic Abuse Not Funny,Tiger SNL Skit Is

Approximately 1.3 million women and 835,000 men are physically assaulted by an intimate partner annually in the United States (Commission on Domestic Violence http://www.abanet.org/domviol/statistics.html).  A large percentage of those men and women are abused by their spouse. Believe it or not, evidence points to in the Woods' home e.g.golf clubs found at the scene, Tiger's busted lip and lacerations to the face, hundreds of dollars of cash on Tiger's person, late hours, mysteriously crashing vehicle with no signs of being under the influence, avoiding authorities for days and the half baked statement eventually offered up to law enforcement. Classic symptons involved with a person being abused attempting to cover for the abuser.

Domestic abuse is never funny and usually results in fatality. Luckily the only fatality that night was his car's rear windshield. SNL has a different take on the whole Tiger Woods domestic abuse speculation. Go ahead and laugh! You know you want to.

Thank God the man hasn't been given press conferences!

Kobe Banks Buzz Beater vs Miami Heat

Hate or love it, when Darth Kobe has the ball the balls gonna drop! In what had to be one of the best come from behind buzzer beaters of Kobe's career, Kobe launched the ball with less than 4 seconds left to go in a nail biter game against the Miami Heat last night and banked a circus trick shot only a former NBA MVP could sink. Prior to the shot the Lakers managed to battle their way within two after blowing a six point lead earlier in the quarter and after two free throws by Dwyane Wade, dished it to Derek Fisher for the clutch three bringing the score within one at 105-106 Miami. Shortly after, an inbound pass from Artest to Bryant over Dwyane Wade sealed the Heat's fate in what had to be a heart-breaking loss after a hard fought game. SHANNON BROWN HIGH FLYING DUNK FACIAL

It was just the thing to bring Lakers fans to their feet. No not another championship ring. Got to wait until June 2010 for that (smile) That thing was in the guise of a one-handed monster dunk Lakers guard, Shannon Brown aka "Young Shannon" unleashed over unsuspecting Warriors power forward, Mikki Moore from just inside the free throw line last night.

The jam was as a result of a steal by Brown from Corey Maggette. Shannon Brown raced down court on a fast break, driving into the lane for the slam that brought Moore to his knees and sent Brown to the ground soon after. Shannon couldn't help but celebrate with a few claps of his own nor could Twitter. Once again Young Shannon was a number one trending topic and not for his likeness to a certain famous ex of Rihanna.

Coming off a blowout win over the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars running back, Maurice Jones-Drew is well on his way to regaining the buzz that made him a must have for fantasy leagues everywhere. So far Jones-Drew has on averaged 296 yards for 4 touchdowns over 4 games yet despite his so-so production going into week 5 of the 2009-10 NFL season he managed to be honored as one of the NFL's Players of the Week in the AFC for his performance during week 3. The honor was awarded to him after he rushed for 119 yards in the Jaguars dazzling defeat 31-24 of the Houston Texans. DUCKS' BLOUNT SUCKER PUNCHES BOISE ST'S HOUT

It is the punch that was heard across the internet if there is such a thing. After an emotional loss to Boise St 19-8 in regulation, Oregon Ducks running back, LeGarette Blount nailed Boise St.defensive end, Byron Hout with a sucker punch that brought him to his knees! Hout had ill advisedly sauntered up to Blount not too long after the game was over and had few words with the running back before lightly tapping him on the shoulder. LeGarette didn't hesitate to fire back his disapproval landing a blow squarely to Hout's jaw. The hectic scene of Blount lunging out of control at fans and later being restrained then escorted out by a Boise police officer and Oregon's assistant coach. Whatever Hout said to Blount, just call LaGarette Blount college football's Rocky Balboa.

Lebron Unleashed:The "Lost" Dunk Tape

By now the term dunk tape and Lebron James go hand and hand. So does the term "the kid that dunked on Lebron" and the name Jordan Crawford, a Xavier sophomore basketball player now lapping in the luxury of national buzz only a blown out of proportion "scandal" can bring. Not too long ago Crawford was an unknown invited to join a select group of college basketball's elite to play with Lebron at the Nike sponsored Lebron Skills Academy in Akron, OH and now film of him dunking on the MVP of the NBA is circulating heavily on blogs and media sources around the world, all thanks to "Lebron Gate."

KOBE AND MAGIC HONOR KING OF POP

Kobe and Magic remember the time,speaking at the request of the Jackson family at the Michael Jackson memorial service Tuesday at the Staples Center. Bryant and Johnson joined an all-star cast including The Jackson family, Brooke Shields,Mariah Carey,Usher,Berniece King,Al Sharpton and John Mayer to name a few in a memorial service that was part musical tribute and part spiritual ceremony honoring Michael Jackson's memory while giving a filled to capacity Staples Arena the chance to say goodbye. If there's any reason why Kobe's career in music flopped, it might be because he fumble and emotionless delivery of lines on MJ's life and impact on music while Magic attempted humor with a somewhat funny relevation of Michael's fetish for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
 
**Update**After this broadcast, lines at KFC's nationwide were as long as the list of doctors being sought for questioning in MJ's death. Thank you Kobe and Magic! MJ would be proud!

RON ARTEST TRIBUTE TO HIS N***A,MICHEAL JACKSON

Leave it to Ron Artest to the turn the "King of Pop's" death into a laugh fest aka a music video tribute endearingly called "Michael Michael Michael (You My N*gga)." In a ceremony crowning him as the newest cast member of the Lakeshow, Ron Ron proudly held up his new #37 jersey in honor of the number of weeks "Thriller" ruled the Billboard Music charts. Before that it was #23 in honor of that "other" MJ. I think he played basketball or something. And to think Artest wasn't invited the Michael Jackson memorial to spit this little diddy in front of 1 billion viewers worldwide!
