Unloaded as a bombshell prequel to the 2009 NBA Draft, the "rumor"that Shaq was preparing to sign with the 2009 NBA MVP LeBron James and the LeBronettes electrified airwaves and ignited tweets declaring the Cavs as certified 2009-2010 NBA Champions. A week later, the rumormill was spinning again with talks of former Detroit Pistons forward, Rasheed Wallace being picked up by the 2007-2008 Champion Boston Celtics. It wasn't long before the comparisons of who got the better deal began buzzing like a horde of overactive bumblebees.
While "The Big Witness" may seem like the ultimate blockbuster acquisition on paper,the Cavs like their delusional fans salivating at the mouth at the high flying alley-oops, elbow-throwing paint dominating annihilation to come are missing one key component this trade does not possess and that is an alternate offensive set other than the "Pass the ball to LeBron" play.
