PETA (People for Ethnical Treatment of Animals) has been known for its controversial, racy ads and even more notorious demonstrations to push its agenda against animal cruelty, sometimes enlisting celebrities and athletes to join its cause. This time the over the top social activist group has recruited Phoenis Suns player, Amare Stoudemire to drop his top for a new advertisement entitled, "Ink Not Mink." The campaign is aimed at celebrating one's own skin instead of rocking animal skin (furs).

The theme was "green" as I rode up the escalators of the AMC Loews Theaters in scenic downtown Chicago and Sprite spared no expense in pulling out the punches to promote their new all natural drink --- Sprite Green and the Lebron James documentary "More Than A Game." The drink boasts half the calories of the original Sprite with all natural sugars laced with a hint of lemon juice in a green tinged transparent glass bottle that would make the Incredible Hulk proud. However, the event hosted by local comedian and radio host, Leon Rogers was "More Than Green." As any tastemaker, fashionista or media hound would tell you, after packing into an intimately lit theater seating 150 people and previewing the highly anticipated documentary 7 1/2 years in the making -- It was more than Lebron James.

There is a popular sports video game on the market...and its not made by EA sports. What's the video game that EA Sports, the makers of John Madden Football and Tiger Woods Golf among other things, passed on? That would be UFC Undisputed 2009,created by previously struggling video game company, THQ. More info from Media & Money,
"UFC 2009 Undisputed has been a hit since launching in May, selling
about three million copies.
THQ, the game’s developer and publisher, has reported a first-quarter
profit of $6.4 million.
THQ President Brian Farrell praised the success of UFC Undisputed 2009 as
the reason behind THQ’s recent success.
